We love being introduced to new topics, themes and outlooks, so if you have an idea that you think would fit The Dilettante but isn't covered above, please do send it over. We are open to considering first-person and opinion pieces, flash fiction, reviews, poetry, humorous rants, sensible nonsense and other miscellaneous articles.
WHAT WE DON'T COVER
In keeping with the general vibe of The Dilettante we are unlikely to publish topics including mainstream pop culture, television, beauty, tech, celebrity gossip, gaming, news and health.

Please note: right off the bat we would like to be up-front and state that as we are a very small and new publication we can currently only offer payment for articles that appear in the print publication. We really hope to be able to expand this to online pieces in the future so please bear with us for the time being.
The Dilettante is a new publication dedicated to riveting history and creative culture. We write for the curious minded, for the weird kids who grew up to be artists, for the nostalgics, the dabblers, the beginners, the daydreamers and the culture magpies. The Dilettante is a space to escape the sometimes mundane and hectic modern world, a haven for the silly and absurd, and a place to find inspiration and insight.
